What we collect, why we collect it, and what we do not do with it. Short version: we use what you send us to answer you and to build your project, and nothing else.

What we collect
If you contact us through the inquiry form on this site, we collect the information you choose to give us — typically your name, email address, phone number, project location, and a description of your project. We collect nothing else about you directly.
Like most websites, ours is served by a hosting provider that keeps standard technical logs, which may include your IP address, browser type, and the pages you visited. We do not use advertising trackers, and we do not build profiles on visitors.
How we use it
We use what you send us for one purpose: to respond to your inquiry and, if we end up working together, to run your project. We do not sell, rent, or trade your information to anyone. We do not add you to a marketing list from a project inquiry unless you ask us to.
Who else sees it
Your information is handled by Richard Kessner and, where a project requires it, by the architects, designers, and trade partners working on your job. We also rely on ordinary business software — email, cloud storage, and web hosting — whose providers process data on our behalf under their own terms.
We may disclose information if we are legally required to.
Project photography
The photographs on this site are of completed work. We photograph projects only with the owner's permission, and we do not publish client names or exact addresses without consent. If you are a past client and would like a project removed from this site, email us and we will take it down.
How long we keep it
Inquiries that do not become projects are kept for up to two years. Project records — contracts, drawings, invoices, correspondence — are retained as long as our insurers, licensing obligations, and applicable law require, which for construction work is typically several years past completion.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to richard@barerenovations.com and we will handle it. Requests to unsubscribe from any email we send are honored immediately.
Cookies
This site does not set advertising or analytics cookies. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which may log the request. Nothing on this site follows you elsewhere on the internet.
